Oxnard Plumbing Co. was founded by the Snivley Family in 1907 on the corner of 5th street and A Street. Back then the name of the company was called Oxnard Furniture Linoleum Plumbing and Roofing Co. It was later sold to Joe Connelly and Dale Gosney in 1963 and was renamed Oxnard Plumbing and Heating Co. Inc. Not only did its name change but so did its location to the corner of 1St Street and A Street. OPC was the #1 plumbing and heating company working for not only the small but the big contractors as well.

In 1993, Joe Connelly passed away and Dale continued to run the company until the owner of the property sold the building and moved to a new site in Nye land Acres for 2 years. Due to health problems, Dale sold the plumbing part of the business to Frank JR Pedroza. Frank and his father, Frank Pedroza Sr., carried on the business together. Frank Sr. worked for OPC as a union plumber for 40 years. On December,29,2008 Frank Sr. passed away. JR still continues to run and manage the company and plans to keep it in the family for many generations to come.
